Annual Report Video Production: Bringing Your AGM to Life

Annual reports are no longer confined to weighty PDFs. Across Singapore—and well beyond—companies are embracing the annual report video to turn balance-sheet numbers into narratives people actually remember. Earlier this year, CapitaLand Investment (CLI) debuted its own film at the 2025 AGM, and we at Vicinity Studio were truly honoured to help shape that experience.

Broadcast at CLI’s AGM 2025, this video captures Group CEO Lee Chee Koon in reflection—revisiting the defining moments that shaped both CapitaLand Investment and his own leadership journey.

Why Video Works

Benefit What It Means
Keeps attention Moving images, voice-over and subtle motion graphics carry viewers through complex ESG metrics without the usual fatigue.
Adds a human touch Seeing senior leaders on screen fosters trust, something static charts rarely achieve.
Improves recall Story-driven visuals make headline figures stick.
Travels further One clip can live on a microsite, splice into social media or replay during a virtual AGM—extending its shelf-life.
Supports sustainability Fewer printed copies align neatly with green targets.

Rex, Assistant Producer for the project:
“We aimed for a conversational setting to keep a long corporate history feeling fresh. By mixing the must-know numbers with personal anecdotes, the story flowed naturally.Even though the video had financial and investor-focused content, the audience was the same. The difference was in the purpose—some parts were meant to inform, while others were meant to engage. This actually helped us create a better flow. We mixed important statistics with real-life stories, so the video stayed informative but also interesting to watch.”

A Word on Craft

As a Singapore annual report video production team, we see our role as translators: turning dense spreadsheets into visuals that respect viewers’ time. Each project is different, yet the goal is constant—help audiences feel the strategy, not just read it.
