We produced two cinematic showcase films at the Esplanade — spotlighting Yamaha’s YUS5 Upright Piano and CFX Grand Piano, with pianist Noriko as the featured artist. Each video blends emotive storytelling with elegant visuals, highlighting the craftsmanship, sound, and spirit of these instruments.
For the YUS5, the narrative focused on intimacy and refinement — a return to the roots of music with modern sophistication. Soft lighting, macro details of the keys and interior, and Noriko’s personal reflections created a warm, elegant tone.
For the CFX, the film captured power and presence — the grand piano as both an instrument and collaborator. Hero stage shots, sweeping close-ups, and an evocative voiceover conveyed the grandeur of its sound and craftsmanship. Together, these films celebrate Yamaha’s enduring legacy in performance and artistry.
